Chantel joins team DG as a Design Intern, bringing fresh perspectives and enthusiasm from her studies in Visual Communication Design at Purdue University. As she prepares to enter her junior year of her undergraduate studies, Chantel’s creativity, flexibility, and outgoing nature make her a valuable addition to the team, contributing innovative ideas and a positive attitude to every project.

Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, Chantel enjoys painting and going for walks, activities that fuel her creativity and provide inspiration for her design work. Her passion for visual storytelling and her vibrant personality are sure to leave a lasting impact during her time at Dearing Group.

Why are you in this profession?
While in high school I took many different business classes and really fell in love with the advertising and marketing class that I took. However, I missed the creative aspect that my art classes provided me with. Right before applying to college I did some research on future careers and landed on graphic design–where I can have the best of both worlds!

What are three things you want to do someday?
I want to travel to Japan, go to the Kentucky derby, and learn another language!
