As a junior at Purdue University, Grace is studying Public Relations and Strategic Communication, pursuing minors in Political Science and Human Resource Management, and working toward a Collaborative Leadership certificate. Her passion for developing relationships and solving complex problems inspired her to pursue an internship with Dearing Group.

Originally from Fishers, Indiana, Grace is a proud Hoosier and an even prouder Purdue student. On campus, Grace is involved in Boiler Communication and her sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha.

In her free time, Grace enjoys hiking with her family in the great outdoors.

Who or what was a big career influence?
My grandpa and dad, Lou and Ty Gerig, are my biggest career influences. They are two of the most talkative, outgoing people I’ve ever met, which means they know how to make good connections.

Have you gotten your 15 minutes of fame?
Purdue scored a touchdown at the 2021 Michigan State game when I was on the Purdue Dance Team. My shocked expression ended up on Purdue Barstool and Fox Sports on Twitter!

Who is someone you admire and why?
My parents. My mom has taught me what it means to be a strong woman, pursue my dreams and love deeply. My dad has taught me the importance of living life to the fullest, giving others grace and making people laugh.

Loyal. Empathetic. Strong.

What is the best vacation you have ever taken?
Acadia National Park in Maine. I loved the East Coast vibe, hiking with a beautiful view of the water and staying in a yurt! Unpopular opinion: hated the lobster rolls.
