Office Manager / Receptionist

Flossie has worked at the agency as our office manager and receptionist since 1994. Prior to that, she worked as a secretary to an attorney and CPA for five years, and for 20 years as secretary to a manager at Sears. At Dearing Group, Flossie answers phones, faxes, delivers projects, records schedules, handles accounts payable and performs countless data-entry projects to keep the agency organized and running at peak efficiency. A lifelong resident of Lafayette, Flossie has three children and six grandchildren.

On a date at the lake, I came up from the water minus the top of my swimsuit and didn’t realize it until everyone started pointing at me.

Waiting on someone who is late.

I worked in the laundry at St. Elizabeth when I was in the eighth grade. Awful!

I never had a car until I was married, but I remember my husband Dean’s Buick convertible that he finally had to sell to buy my engagement ring.

Just three years ago, the "American Idol" tour at the Indiana State Fair.
